Anyone know of a good Photoshop 7.0 or CS book?

The wifey would like to learn how to do more with Photoshop 7.0.

Also, is the upgrade to Photoshop CS worth the money? If so, know of any good books for it?

I got Photoshop 7.0 Classroom in a Book and was very happy with the book. Each chapter is a lesson that teaches how to use PS tools becoming more advanced as you go. It also comes with a CD of pictures that corresponds with each lesson.

yes CS is worth the upgrade. CS is very good. classroom in a book CS taught me how to use PS fairly well - to do basic things. granted i cant make a scene with a mouse, but i can retouch photos and such

I agree with the above statements. Take a look at your local library, too. I was able to check out several books, including the CS Classroom in a Book.
