Looking between $500-$800 ($1000 if it's a big enough jump). Will primarily be for music, Internet tasks, pictures and MS Office tasks. Light weight and aesthetics would be a big plus.

Any recommendations? I check the Hot deals section and didn't find much.

Check fatwallet.com or ******for a deal. People post ways to combine sales with coupons and discounts to get the best price.

I recall Dell having a deal for an E1505 with Duo Core processor and a better graphics chip (with the other stuff very similar) for $699 the other day.

Ebayers that sell Dells are just buying the Dells that are up on slickdeals and fatwallet. Cut out the middleman and keep an eye on those 2 site's forums. Dell deals have been dropping like crazy recently.
