Anyone know of a good cheap pci IDE controller card?

I have an epox 8kha+ mobo with two ide controllers. My problem is that I have a DVD drive, cd burner, and two hard drives. I need to add another hard drive so i can put linux back on my machine so I can do work again. I need a regular IDE controller card, I won't use raid, and being able to put one of my optical drives on it would be a plus. Most cards I've seen like the promise cards say for hard drives only. Is promise any better than highpoint? does one play better with via kt266 than another? Does it matter? I'm also considering getting a drive switching device, they are as cheap as $15. Anyone have suggestions on this either? Thanks.

Promise RAID cards only use HD's, but a regular ata66/100/133 ide card can use cdroms without problems.

Just grab yourself a promise ata100 card & you're set.
