I used to love Trend Micro's HijackThis! software. But I've never been able to get it to work with Windows 7 64-bit. And some research (Google) indicates that I'm not alone.
Before anyone suggests it, yes, I've tried right-clicking and choosing "Run as Administrator." It still doesn't work. All I ever get is a message telling me that access to the Hosts file has been denied, and that I should try running HJ as an administrator (which I'm already doing). I've tried it on at least a dozen different Win 7 64-bit computers.
I'd really like to find another application that does what HijackThis! used to do so well. Can anyone recommend a good one that works on 64-bit Windows 7?
