My IP, and pretty much avery big DSL IP in Canada, now limits download usage to 5-6 Gb of transfer per month. Anything over costs you extra. And for some reason, my IP doesn't offer a "download used" service.
So to get the most mileage without going over I'd like to know how much I transfered each month. There are many apps that count how much *time* you spend online, but that's not what I need and counting by hand just increases the risk of making a mistake.
So, are there apps for download usage that tabulate the amount used each month or over a period?
