Anyone know of a digital recorder that records .wavs

does any have one or heard of one that works particularly good or is easy to use?

I have an iRiver IFP-799 that I got for Christmas last year, and I absolutely love it. The built-in microphone works great, it has a built-in FM radio tuner (nice for using at the gym to hear the TVs while on the treadmill), battery life is about 40 hours on a single AA battery, but my favorite feature of all is the auto-resume feature. I use my MP3 player primarily to listen to language instruction recordings, so the MP3s are around 30 minutes. Other players I tried wouldn't remember where in the recording I was, so I'd have to scan through half an hour of audio trying to get to the point where I left off, which was annoying as hell. Now, I just press play again, and it works beautifully.

The IFP-799 is the 1GB version of the player, and Amazon sells it for $156.74. They also make 512MB (IFP-795, $113.99) and 256MB (IFP-790, $85.49) versions of the player, as well as some other similar series (IFP-19x is another one) that are a little less expensive, but I don't know what the differences are.
