Anyone know of a comparison between the Asus A7N8X and A7N8X-X?

I'm wondering about the performance difference between the dual channel and single channel is.

Also what's the difference between the nForce2 SPP and nForce2 IGP?
It's the north bridge I think...but what's the diff?

I've got the south bridge differences under control..but not the variety of north's that can be paired up.

TIA.

1) sorry can't think of any comparaison but they're the same except a7n8x-x has no dual channel
2) there's is hardly any diefference between dual and single channel unless ur using the integrated graphics (igp) on a mobo because it gets rid of that bottleneck
3) igp is integrated graphics port... not really that good for gaming but ok for every day use

Oh okay, so the SPP doesn't have the integrated graphics then?

Well I want to use my standalone graphics cards anyhow...so no big loss.

And dual channel doesn't make much difference if you're not using the integrated eh?

Hmmm.....

Remember that the A7N8X-X doesn't come with the MCP-T chip. So you won't get that nice nForce sound capabilities.

Nor does the A7N8X actually.

They are both MCP, you need the A7N8X-Deluxe for the MCP-T.

But I want to keep my current soundcard anyhow.
