Anyone know if you can scan a form into a program like word so u can easily fill it out on computer instead of by hand?

a sorta template or something so i can print on the forms directly? it would be for my mom. the same form would have to be filled out later so a reusable method would be great i've tried manually lining things up before, that really sucked.

Acrobat is great for forms.

ocr would decode the words, but would it keep the exact proportions so it would print back out just fine?

i can scan into acrobat?

any freeware ocr? i have a canon/visioneer scanner, but their ocr probably is old, not sure if they let u download the newer ocr online.
