Anyone know if Walmart or OfficeMax carries PCI IDE Controllers?

On June 2, 1875 Alexander Graham Bell was the first to transmit voice over the telephone. That invention might come in handy in situations like this.

So don't go there? problem solved.

They won't have it so don't even bother.

It doesn't really solve his problem, since his problem is that he needs a PCI IDE controller. Checking OfficeMax.com will get him farther than calling though.

Go to officemax.com. Get the SKU number. Call up your local Officemax, give them SKU number. Ask for availability. Don't be stupid.

/thread.

Having worked at OfficeMax I can safely say that checking their site is not the best idea. We had people coming in all the time saying that they saw stuff online or in the ad that was on sale and that they wanted. However, the ad and internet site is for every OfficeMax store eveyrwhere. Before our store closed we never carried any IDE controllers and just because you think people from that store may not know what you're talking about, that doesn't hold true for everyone

Edit: Post above me got it

Common sense doesn't belong here.
