ran out of ide channels but have sata channels to spare? I was actually going to do that.. heh.. I have plenty of IDE drives.. cheaper to convert them to SATA and slap in a SATA raid 5 controller... cheaper for now until I can repalce them w/ native SATA drives. However, for me.. even that still didn't make much sense to do, don't have $200 to drop on a raid controller.
