Anyone know if the new Red PCB MSI 9800 pros have the r360 core?

No, but I know the one I got was not an 'XT' in the bios like the old green cards. I haven't inspected the chip. My ram is a bit short of XT speeds without more cooling anyway.

nope just got mine from gameve and it is a r350 core (red pcb)

oh well still a nice card

Hmm, one of my friends bought an MSI 9800Pro and it detects it as 9800XT in his WinXP machine.

I've read that the R350 isn't even made any more.

Try running SisSandra...I've got 2 9800 Pros and 1 shows up as a R350 and the other as R360. I didn't verify by pulling off the fan though.
