Anyone know if multiple people can play World of Warcraft at the same time off of one IP?

Since the Blizzard forums seem to not think I have a valid CD-Key for ANY of my Blizzard games (own them all) I figured I could post this question here. Hopefully someone is in this situation where multple people in one household plays WOW.

Does it work? There are 2-3 of us here at my college apartment that want to play the game, but we only have one IP. Will we be able to? Wanted to find this out before I pre-order.

Ive played WC3 on BNET with multiple people sharing an IP. Everyone needs their own key though. Of course I can't comment for WoW, but if this is any indication, you should be able to.

That's what I will try. I hear signups start today. The thing is, I know for SURE 2 of us at least will play, just hope the two of us will be able to get keys.

Yeah as long as each of you have keys, you should be able to play at the same time.

Have you done this? Because I'll want to be sure. With the NAT firewall, if both clients use the same ports won't that be all messed up?

I've done it with other online games. Like EQ. I have not done it with WoW. But it is something they probably took into mind when they created the game. I am not 100% sure. But, the open beta keys are free. So grab a few and give it a try.

Why not go to the source and see if Blizzard has this in their FAQ's?
Can it be done?
Yes.
The question is does Blizzard allow it.

I would be very surprised if Blizz disallows it. Consider all the people on school or apartment networks... they often share IPs and Blizz wouldnt want to alienate them. As far as they are concerned, they should do whatever is in their power to allow as many paying users as possible to play.

No need to tell me, >--- has owned more than 6 EQ accounts. Yes at once.
Yes, I do plan on boxing in WoW if I like it, can't say for certain as I haven't gotten to play WoW yet, haven't bothered to look it up in Blizzards Faq because it would be silly for them to block this but the OP asked, I gave an honest answer.

;)

Btw if someone is waiting to push a launch button on that stinking beta will they push it already?
I'm getting cranky sitting here that and reading cisco stinks.

I usta play WC3 just fine behind a NAT firewall. You just needed to open up the right port and it worked fine.

How come WoW allows you to do this, but STARCRAFT won't? I play Starcraft a lot and whenever we all get together to play, we can only play on our own intranet. We can't get together to play games online. Starts lagging, or we can't see each other type in channels etc..etc..
