I have a backup desktop that I use for managing files across my network. It is an old system but recently added 4 GB of ram and have a 980 I put in it to upgrade the 720 that is already there. It would not post with the 980 in it. The 980 is not on the official supported CPU list. I've googled this and even contacted Biostar concerning this question. Biostar was of no help. Nothing helped on my google search. I can live with the 720 but I know the 980 will be a bit more snappy. I'm running Linux Mint 21.2.
