Anyone know if GeForce 256 DDR drivers are inlcuded in RH 6.2?

yes it is, via a generic NVIDIA GeForce DDR driver (which works fine)

No 3D acceleration, though. NVIDIA released accelerated drivers much later, after 6.2 was already shipped...

right, and at this point you might as well get XFree 4.01 and the get the newest Nvidia drivers (0.9.5) (with OpenGL GLX support)

I'm a linux newbie so I don't know how to install RPMs or anything...6.1 didn't detect my card and I was lost without a graphical interface and not knowing the command lines. what about RH beta 7? Would itinclude the 3d accellerrated drivers?
