get a recording from a cassette to MP3 on computer?

very inefficient way is to plug your cassette player to your sound card with analog cable... use some recording software to get it into .wav sually, then use a converter to get mp3's... this is very inefficiet and doesn't produce the best type of mp3's... i'm sure there are better was but i haven't done this since 2 years ago... use this as a last resprt if no one else replies i guess = ) good luck

Thought of that but doesn't the input go through sound card? I tried recording a .wav from CD while CD was playing. SUCKED. Hoping for a better way.

Depends on the software you have. Audiograbber works great and burns it as an mp3 from the disc.
