Anyone know how to the get first COH install disc?

Anyone think of an alternative, any ISOs I could mount out there? Wanna play it but after much searching, I must have put it somewhere, and have no idea where that would be.

i have no other idea than to download it "illegally" but technically, it wouldn't be piracy since you actually purchased it and will use your own bought serial#. Least thats what I would do.

From what I've heard, when you buy a game, you aren't actually buying the game. You are buying the rights to play the game.

You have the serial, then you have the rights to play it. There is a pirate-like bay that might be able to help you.

Or, I'm fairly sure I've seen it in the bargain bin at walmart for less than $4.

Alright, thanks. I've never bothered much with torrents and the like since I'm always afraid of viruses. Would a "pirate like bay" be the place where I could get a quality file that won't leave me with a computer that needs to be reformatted?

You most likely will be fine. Keep your anti-virus running though. From my experience, I havn't had any issues from that source in a couple years. Read the comments below the download though.. they usually give valuable information as to what they experienced from the files contents.

I had the same problem with my diablo 2 expansion disk, had the serial but the disc was unreadable. As well as my rollercoaster tycoon 3 game. Got both of them running without a hitch. You'll just need to be familiar with the process of either mounting an iso in a virtual drive or burning an iso. (portableapps.com has a great free program for this)

Yup, very familiar with Daemon tools, had to do something similar to this with my battlefield 2 disc which couldn't be read, so as long as the game comes packaged as an .ISO I'm fine.

I don't think so because I have have the version they gave out for free with video cards a while back and tried adding mine to steam and it wouldn't accept the key.

Also how I got mine, same thing. Gonna try a torrent, use my valid key, should work just like the regular game, right?

You can download the installer right from the CoH website. You don't need install media anymore.

Log in to your account, activate it, and look around. I re-activated mine last month and the site gave me an installer. If you can't find it, email them or call them and ask.
