Anyone know how to speed up Auto Insert Notification Process?

For a question Ive wanted to ask for a long time.

Not much can be done, it has to do with how quickly the CD-ROM can mount the disc, spin up, position the laser, and read the autorun information from the disc. Some drives are simply very poor performers in this area.

There are, however, programs which will cache the contents of the CD to the hard drive during idle periods, but obviously that won't help with auto insert notification.
