Anyone know how to setup an fserve?

I've got some online tutorials on how to setup an fserve in IRC via google... but anyone know if there is anything special I need to know for setting it up behind a linksys router with the latest firmware and zonealarm?

I'm pretty sure allowing mIRC as a server should take care of zonealarm but what about the router? port forwarding?

best to ask someone that fserves about the router stuff.. not sure since i havent tried. im pretty sure you're going to have to forward ports. so make sure you have SPI disabled (since having this enabled disables port forwarding). setting up a fserv seems pretty simple using something like polaris, sirius, etc. versions of mirc.
