Anyone know how to set up Speech to Text?

Last weekend my mom was getting out of her spa and closing the cover when a huge gust of wind hit the broadside of the cover, knocking the cover (its pretty heavy) into the side of her face and knocking her to the ground. She dislocated her elbow, tore all of the tendons and muscles and hurt her hand as well. She is 61 years old, so this is a pretty major injury.

Her main mode of communication is email, but she won't be able to type for some time. I was hoping to go to her place and set up some sort of speech to text thing so that she could still get emails out if she wanted to. Anyone know of a way to do this?

Thanks.

yes, it is possible, but it's not that good yet. her best bet is to poke away with her good hand.

edit: or use the phone

Dragon Naturally speaking is your best bet. We work with a bunch ADA software in our computer labs and Dragon has always been the most reliable as far as speach to text goes, but it still does have its flukes.
