Anyone know how to run a batch file through MS outlook based on some rules?

Title says it all - is there a way to launch a batch file using the rules/wizards in Outlook? I know you can run scripts but they seem custom to outlook?

Maybe launch something via vba?

In Outlook 2003 there is a "start application" in the Rules Wizard action selection. You can then select "All files" and choose your batch file.
