When i first got this monitor my mobo was dead on main rig, so i used it on a vga videocard in a old computer. The position was messed up so i set the horizontal position over 2, 50 --> 52.

When i got my main back up the position was now messed up to the right, where it was to much to the left before. But now the position setting is greyed out! I have tried hoooking it back up to the vga but still greyed out. Its very weird and i called dell and they went through the usually, install drivers blah blah, they basically had no clue.

So the only thing i can think of at this point is reflashing it to factory. BTW there is a setting that lets me reset to factory settings and that does fix the position but as soon as the monitor goes off the problem comes back. It gets annoying having to do this everytime i want a permanent solution not temp, i would also settel for a program that could set the position and have that start with windows though i really want monitor to work.

Any ideas

i already did, they went throught the usually BS, reinstall drivers and such. I didnt want to reinstall drivers because its the same in the bios but i did. I actually just formatted and reinstalled xp from vista.

I guess i will call them back see what they can do, the main problem is i sent back the desktop and only kept the monitor so its hard to get a tech on the phone. Also i dont think they will know how to fix it
