anyone know how to replace xp boot and shutdown music?

If I understand your question, your asking about the music that plays when you start up and shutdown Windows?

If so, just go to Control Panel -->Sounds (Or Sounds and Multimedia), and in there, there is a properties sheet that has all the sounds associated with events on your system. Find the right events, and then choose a new sound assoiciated with it.
