Anyone know how to open up an MX Revolution mouse?

Hey folks, today is a very sad day, my Logitech MX Revolution mouse is finally biting the dust. The flywheel scroll wheel is not free-wheeling like it used to. It's basically acting like any other scroll wheel, it feels like there is some gunk stuck in the mechanism or something. Do you guys know how I can open the mouse up to clean it out?

I've had the mouse for 2 years now so it's had a good run, but the MX Rev is easily the best mouse I've ever used and I can't live without the flywheel. If it's not repairable I'll be buying another similar mouse. Are the MX and VX still the only mice on the market with flywheel scroll wheels?

BTW it's not the rubber on the scroll wheel that is causing interference, I removed that long ago.

There should be screws hidden up under the silicon pads on the bottom for the mouse. Take the screws out and you should be able to get in there and see if the wheel is gummed up or if the mechanism is just worn out.

Ah, didn't know you weren't in the US.

To answer your earlier question, the new G500 and G9x have that same scroll wheel.
