Anyone know how to make beef jerky? or care to share recipes?

This stuff is just too expensive to buy already made, so I think I am gonna give making it a shot.

I know you can buy cheap steak or whatever, and then just hang it in the oven for a number of hours at x temperature..but I am not sure exactly..

anyone?

Dehydrator, smoker, oven, it all works good Smoker will give you the best flavor.

Just buy some meat, slice it thin, season it good, put it in the oven on the lowest temperature possible, leave the oven door cracked open, in ~15 hours you have great jerky
