Anyone know how to make alfredo sauce?

That is the question an excellent tasteing alfredo sauce.. like you would get in a nice restaurant.. and like the kind I can never make at home.......

I make this every week.

Unsweetened butter
Romano cheese
Parmesan cheese
Heavy cream (36% milk fat) (double cream in the UK)
Nutmeg FRESH
Salt Kosher
Pepper FRESH ground

Ok, after you strain the pasta, DON"T run it under cold water, leave it hot.
Add the butter and grated cheese
Toss it till they are melted
Add the cream (optional - I prefer no cream)
Salt, pepper, nutmeg to taste

it's a thicker version of regular cream...hence the name. don't know if you canucks name it that way, but down here in the states it comes in a carton saying heavy cream 😀
