Anyone know how to kill an XP task from command line?

Explorer went unstable on a remote connection (thats what I get for trying to access an FTP) and I need to kill and restart it.... Can't right click on the start menu to pull it up because the whole thing went unstable....

arg... anyone know how it works?

I thought I'd be able to hit "kill explorer.exe" but nothing like that is working
