Anyone know how to install a new DVD drive in a G4 Mac Tower?

I have an old G4 Mac tower sitting here and an extra DVD RW drive, and want to upgrade the DVD-RAM drive to the newer one. I opened it up and it has this metal case surrounding it that seems that it's a bitch to get in to.

Do I need to take the front off the case and install the drive that way?

I think it's a Sawtooth. It's got an AGP videocard.

Open the side, slice the metal tape that holds the drive in, or just remove it. Remove the entire cage from the unit. I believe its held in by a screw in the back and 1-2 in the front. Replace the drive and then remount
