I looked through all of the symbols available to me in the MS Word version I have installed (MS Office 2000) and couldn't find the centerline symbol...looks like a "C" and an "L" overlapped...

thanks.

I'm pretty sure the OP is not still looking for an answer 13 years later.

you can make it a picture and insert it. This is probably the easiest way. :) (Unless you happen to have a custom engineering font.)

I've created a picture and inserted it but it doesn't look too good.

Do you have the acutal symbol on the computer you're using? If you've got the block, insert it in a drawing, explode it, then copy it and paste it into the word document.

Go to Arial Unicode it's in the middle of a line probably 10% scrolled down right next to ^C.

Hey rahvin, which version of MS Word are you using? I have MS Word 2000 (9.0.3821 SR-1). I don't even have an Arial Unicode available to me.

Thanks!

Does anyone else have the 'centerline' symbol available to them in via
Insert>Symbol?

I don't even have a Arial Unicode font to choose from.

Thanks.

hold down alt, then type 0162. I tried it in word XP but I assume word 2000 supports unicode too

or try 2104 ALT+X

Click insert in the top most of microsoft words options in the left side, now see the left side top there will be an option "symbol" click in it,then a symbol page will appear, select Font: Options then search for Arial Unicode MS,there you will see lots of symbols..in the bottom a Character code: Options is given..type 2104 in the option box..simple.good luck..by the way I used MS Words 2007.

What's that smell?

Is that really what 2003 smelled like? I remember it being so much better.
