I have a cheap little microphone that I want to use for tuning my guitar. I have a program called E-Guitar that lets you do this, you strum a chord and it "listens" and tells you how much to tune. Well anyway, I found the mike, and plugged it into the orange jack on my soundblater live value. I did this with the comp on (don't think it matters), and the microphone was "open" as soon as i plugged it in. I could talk into it, and was getting feedback from my speakers etc. Anyone know what the deal is?
The last time I used the mike was on my old system which had a SB 128 isa card. I plugged it in, rebooted and it was fine....
