Anyone know how to get the blockbuster lock off ?

Its just a little plastic thing that goes down the side of the case, the last thing I want to do is go all the way back to blockbuster to get it taken off.
Anyone know how to get it off ? Maybe using a knife ?

Thats what I was gonna do, I dont think they really care that you lose the case.

And cr4zymofo, how would magnets get it off ? It seems plausible but I dont get how it could work.

They left it one once, so I called them up and said wtf? They said just bust the case open and don't worry about it...so I used my ems scissors and had my way with it.

I tried once and didn't want to destroy the case, but i did destroy the plastic thing while I tried. They are hard to get off; I just took it back and got a free rental I think.

God, I tried to use one of my subwoofers for my car (just sitting in my room at the moment) which has the biggest magnet ever, and it still wont work. Ive banged up the case pretty good so far, but im trying not to break it. I might just give up and go back later. Too bad a free rental wouldnt do me any good because I have the monthly pass deal. Oh well.

Dude... there's no way in hell you're gonna be a super secret agent one day. Even with instructions and you can't figure out that you'd need two small magnets, and place them on both sides of the case. You'll have to "pick" it.... it's not perfect the first time, but after you do it once, you'll know the exact locations.

Rumor has it Shearing Scissors (did I misspell that?) do the trick, if used correctly. Used to be that way anyway.

I thought once you moved the metal over it would stay over. I dont have any magnets other than the subs, so im just gonna bring it back. When I really looked at the drawing I figured out you had to do 2 at the same time. I had no intention of being a super secret agent anyway
