Anyone know how to get someone on the phone from Chase?

I haven't been able to make payments to my account. I finally had time to call them today, they said my account was blocked from making payments because they had mail bounced back to them.

It turns out that at some point in the last two months they changed my mailing address from my P.O. box to my street address, which is useless as I have no mail box on the street. It would get taken out every other week by snow plows for nine months or so each year.

I can't change my address back to my P.O. box online, though I was able to finally schedule a payment. It is going to be late though, thanks to their block. The guy I talked to on the phone said he changed my address back to the P.O. box, but the other people I talked to said it still shows my street address. I checked my online account and they're correct, it still isn't showing my mailing address.

Call them up and threaten to close your account. That'll get you an English-speaking rep quick.

That's strange. I just went to my chase accounts online and can update my address. Did you go to the Customer Center tab?

Also, I've never had a problem getting in touch with someone over the phone that spoke English.

I dunno, I had to call the other day and got an English-as-a-first-language speaker immediately :p

I did. I entered my old address (they changed it to the street address at some point, I sure as Hell didn't) and it says I cannot change my address to a P.O. box online.

1. Find an Indian
2. Become friends with Indian
3. ...
4. Profit!

Seriously, my buddy Sarif at work comes in handy when I have to talk to one of our vendor's call center, which is in Chennai, India.
