Anyone know how to get rid of "It's now safe to shutdown your computer" screen?

Well, I'm watercooling my PC now, and just incase my pump fails, I have MBM set to shutdown my comp if it hits 50 degrees Celcius. However, when my computer shutdowns (Windows XP), it shows the "It is now safe to shutdown your computer" screen, and won't actually turn off the PC until I push in the power button.

Anyone know a way around this?

I've had like 5 different windows installed on 1 machine before, and each one decides by itself whether or not to show the "safe to shut down" screen. Weird I say.

I asked the same question here not too long ago. Except it wasn't there when I asked it. It was here. If this thread is not also there in a short time, I will not be hippy. ;)

you prolly have ur pc as a "Standard PC" instead of "ACPI", u need to change that to "ACPI" under device manager. however be warned that after you reboot, u will get a BSOD. u can fix that blue screen by using ur restore cd
