Anyone know how to get Knights of the Old Republic 2 to work?

It crashes right after the character creation and intro. Soo annoying. Nothing I've found online seems to help, i'm hoping maybe you guys know whats up.

Not really.
It's KotoR 2.
Need to get OP to try it on a completely different PC, because that's the easiest way.

I ended up trying three different PCs to play KotoR 1 and 2. One neither worked one (my main desktop), and then each worked on a different other computer.

The easiest way is to try another computer, if you have one available, rather than troubleshooting.

These older games almost always have "fixes" check the forums (lucas arts). I know i had it running, I'm sure i had to use the compatiblitly mode in Win7 and there was a DLL download. You had to (if I remeber right) install and UPDATE before you ran it. as for compatibility mode, right click the start icon and select properties and then the comabtbility tab. Most old games work best in XP service pack 2 (or 3). Hope that helps some.. it does work in newer OS's but there are a few hoops to jucmp through.

Thanks guys, unfortunately i already checked the forums and tried all those things...none of them worked. Kotor 1 was fine though. Oh well.

I played Kotor 2 on Win7 64bit last year. There are patches out there.

I have no idea what to do. I think its something to do with intel GPUs. I'm just playing on my shitty laptop, lol.
