Anyone know how to find a saved wifi password?

I remember using a program a few years ago that would allow you to find saved passwords like this. Basically, I have a saved wifi password on my computer, and it would makes things a ton easier if i could find out what that password is. Is there a program or way to get this information?

any worry about this software being malicious in any way? In the past, programs like this which are sort of shady in nature may come with some crap. I only ask because im on a somwhat fresh install, so i dont wanna ruin anything.

Nirsoft is legit. It may trigger A/V you have installed due to the nature of some of the tools, but it's a good package. It's one of the regular tools in my toolbox.

If it's not your router, you have to crack it all over again :^P

Under Network and Sharing Center click on Manage Wireless Networks. Right click the network and select properties. Secuity tab and then click on show characters.

Huh, learned something new. I did not knows this at least for Win7/8
