I'm not sure if there's a quicker way, but converting them to .wavs, using a bit of cut and paste, then converting back to mp3s should succeed in filling whatever open space your hard drive has...oh, and it might accomplish your goal too.
You can just combine the files with the copy command. Just type "copy /?" at the dos prompt to see how it works, or you could download some file combiner off the net
That way, you won't lose quality from a reconversion.
