anyone know how to change the original date a word document was made?

my roommate is asking if there is anyway to change the date a word document was made.

I told him there probably was.. but i want some proof..

anyone?

trying to submit a paper late with the corressponding, and I might add, "convenient " excuse, huh?

Set the computer date to "blah." Install word, paste document content from another computer into that word document.

BINGO.

yeah that works.. i thought there might be a way by hacking into the document...

but there is that easy run around...

Hence my advice. I DID forget to mention copying into NOTEPAD first.

or if you have text pad open the file as raw data and manually change the date. You never know what tricks MS may have hidden to prevent such ocassions.
