Anyone know how to change a headlight in a 2004 Civic?

I had a thread on here a while ago about the passenger side one, and finally figured it out.

However the driver side seems to have this plastic "pipe" type thing that looks to connect where you pour the washer fluid to the actual tank in the way, and I have no clue how to get my hands back there to fix it.

I've searched all over google and have had no luck trying to find out how to do this.

Does anyone have any idea how to do this? It's a 2004 Civic, LX I believe. Thanks.

just the bulb? you may have to remove the tank. what does your manual say?

edit: a quick search reveals that you have to move the power steering fluid tank out of the way

on my car the passenger side is a very tight fit and i just used pliers to maneuver everything around. no way you can get your hand in there.

People laud honda/toyota on their cars but they have some of the worst designs for some of the basic maintenance ever sometimes! I'll stick with the car that I just reach down and twist the bulb out, takes all of 30 seconds to swap the bulb 😛

I own a 96 civic ex and changing out a headlight bulb requires removing the whole front bumper and taking the headlight housing off the car. This is all due to small metal supports completely blocking the backside of the housing making it impossible to change the bulb while its on the car. Pretty ridiculous if you ask me. I hope for your sake the newer models have improved slightly.
