I have to brief a law case for my constitutional law class and I am stumped. Anyone know how?

Also, I need a topic for my Presidential Election class so I can find articles and write a literature review. Any help here?

Thanks!

I have searched but I am not sure I know what I am looking for. This is for an online class and he has given us two cases and we have to chose one to brief. Any clue where you found the outline? Generally how long is a brief?

Basically when you brief a case you can use the IRAC method:

Issue: Why are they in court.
Rule: What the court decided.
Analysis: Why the court ruled the way it did.
Conclusion: What was the outcome of the trial.

edit: length depends on the complexity of the case. i guess a simple case can be briefed with in a page or so. most of the space will be devoted to the analysis portion.
