Anyone know how to boot off of a USB for a Gigabyte Brix S?

I'm trying to boot off of a USB to install Ubuntu but I don't see an option in the BIOS for it. I disabled Secure Boot as googling suggests that would work but the option is still not enabled.
I have a few pictures of the BIOS. The first pic says Secure Boot is activated when SC is enabled, the Platform Key is enrolled, System mode is User/Deployed and CSM is disabled.
I'm not sure about the key being enrolled part. When I go to that screen, it doesn't give me an option to un-enroll (there is a delete option but I don't know if that would break anything).
CSM support is greyed out and set to UEFI. Boot options are UEFI and disabled.

What tool did you use?What option did you select?
If you made the USB uefi you have to enable secure boot,if you made the USB legacy/mbr you have to disable UEFI.
After clearing that up the USB should at least show up in the list of available boot drives or in the boot menu (F12) sometimes you get two options for each drive one mbr and one uefi and you have to select the correct one.

I guess it would be legacy? I just created a bootable USB with Ubuntu on it, I used the Universal USB installer by PendriveLinux. Generally I don't have an issue as I usually F8 to get a boot menu on most computers. The Brix does not give me any options, though, even in the BIOS (or I can't enable it).

That info was posted in 2014, before Windows 10 was released. The Gigabyte support page for that specific device only lists Windows 10 as being officially supported.
For getting an Ubuntu USB thumb drive to boot, it may be required to configure the bios setting of "CSM enabled" or "CSM disabled". Depends on how the author of the Ubuntu .iso file engineered it to be.
