Because you want to send a txt mesage to it? Use a site that doesn't need the provider.

um no ... im workin on an app and instead of looping through 6 carriers, it would be nice to know ahead of time w/o asking the user.
and before anyone says i'm involves with spam, i am not. we're making it easier for the business to just grab the number and not ask questions.
