I'm just planning ahead for my next comp which i'll probably build next year, and am researching HDTV, as I'd like to get a tuner card for doing capping on my PC. This would of course save tons of $$$ since i wouldn't have to buy an HDTV, i could just use a computer monitor.
Right now, it does not seem like there is much HDTV content to subscribe to, many digital cable services are offering a couple channels. looking at the voOm website, it seems they offer the best selection of over 30 HDTV channels, but the site is just covered in marketing hype and doesn't say how much it costs. Does anybody know? I'm wondering if I should wait more than a year to move to HD if the service will gost too much.
