Anyone know how much EB gives in trade in credit for a PS2?

I never play my PS2 anymore. I'm thinking of trading it in towards a Gamecube for something different. Does anyone know how much they allow for a PS2 trade in?

Dunno about PS2, but for xbox they offered me $70 I think it was. Gamestop offered $100 if I traded in 3 eligible games with it (in other words, games that were valued at least $1 in their system). I went with Gamestop.

Are you sure you want a gamecube? They are pretty cheap these days, you could probably just purchase one and keep your PS2.

Check hot deals, there's a gamecube with Metroid for $50 + ship. You could probably sell your PS2 on Ebay for that much.

Keep your PS2, get DDR Max2 and a good pad and you'll be playing your PS2 again forever.

As for Gamecube I'm sure you can get some out there for real cheap.

EB has a preowned GC for $59.99 I figured up that a GC, memory card and 2 games would be around $125. If I can get say $100 for my PS2 then I'll be happy. I've had it since launch and haven't touched it in probablly a year. Just ready for something new.

Sell/trade the PS2 for an early series Xbox and mod the thing. My son wanted one but I resisted (I hardly play console games) until I learned what a modded Xbox could do. I turned the thing into a multi-media center and couldn't be happier with it. Who needs a DVD player when a modded Xbox will play anything you throw at it?

After having both an Xbox and PS2, I would never go back to a console that did not support online play. Chaos Theory multi is awesome.

I certainly wouldn't get rid of my PS2 for a gamecube. I ditched my gamecube a while back and haven't regretted it.

Again modded xbox ftw. So go for the gamecube if you want unless you want to play som PS2 exclusive games.
