Anyone know how Loud SUNON 80mm Fan (KD1208PTB2) Is???

I'm going to buy a couple of those, but I want to know how loud these can be. if they are too loud, i might get other brands. BTW, i've checked them on GiZZo's fan page, but I'd like to hear personal evaluations from the owners.


Spec:

SUNON 80x80x25mm Case Fan, Ballbearing, DC 12V, 2.1W, 2900 RPM, 39.0 CFM, 4-pin. MODEL: KD1208PTB2 (2).H

Looks like this is a close match. Even if the fan is rated at a low dba, the 35+cfm airflow would create a noticable whine.

There not that loud there acceptable in a normal case. Most 7200rpm HD will overshadow this noise, so you won't even hear it. Panaflo 80mm H1A might be a better way to go, give ya little more cfm at 32db, even way better way to go is to open that hole up a little bit and step up too a 92mm fan, thats gonna give you alot more cfm at lower noise.
