How hard is it to do a precision cut out like that? Im assuming they used frickin-laser beams. And Im talking about the top window, not the spider man design on the side )

Wouldn't be hard for me, but I have access to CNC mills at work. Might be a bit touchy with a Dremel or what have you, but I'm sure it could be done.

Those tight radius corners would be impossible with a dremel cutting wheel. Something like that would be quicker on a regular mill than a CNC. Too much programming for a one off. I wouldn't know how to do it at home.

There isn't that much programming to do, running Mastercam v9, only take about 5 minutes to draw and drive the geometry. Toss it in the Makino KE55 and you're all set.

Which brand/model is it? A friend of mine has actually been looking for the spiderman style case since Comdex.

If you're talking about the top panel cut-out, they probably just stamp it.
