Anyone know DreamWeaverMX 2004?

Hi!

I've got a site going with some templates and I just have a small problem with one...

When I save it, one of the files it updates is itself and therefore it wants to be saved again because it has changed. But, obviously, when I save it, it updates itself again.

And so I end up just saying 'no' to changes made without knowing what the changes were, if there were any at all?

Anyone got a clue as to why this is happening?

Thanks

um why is your template a template of itself 😕 ? get rid of the code for that (usually a few commented lines) and you should be all better

It's not a template of itself though, that's why I'm really confused.

In fact, is it even possible to make a file a template of itself? The only way i can think of is by attatching it to itself, which I certainly did not do.

Any more ideas?

Perhaps you have attached another template to your main template (as in you have two templates which are attached to each other).

What I would suggest is taking a look at the source code for your template and figure out what is going on that way (and remove what is not needed).
