Anyone know anything about TV repair?

I recently was given a nice but older 24in Sony Trinitron TV. worked good for a few days then it apears the green went out. (so only blue and red make up the picture) Does anyone know if this is a cheap fix? ie less than 50 bucks? or is it just not worth dealing with it. Thanks for any input
