Anyone know anything about the Beep-for-free?

I was at local CompUSA and found a extremely tiny pager for $59 and beep for free for life w/ your own 1800 number.

Before you guys start trashing it Please tell me more about this service if you know anything about it.

1. beepforfree.com seems like a really really crappy website. (but CompUSA selling it w/ 3 years extended warranty for only $15 extra, in other words, if this company goes bad, you still able to return the pager for refund from CompUSA)
How does person 1800 number works?

2. I know almost everyone has cell phone, but isn't it good idea to has "other" number for those annoying telemarketing?

3. Is it worth it to spend $59 for little toy or "answering" machine?

I imagine that people that leave a number will have to listen to these advertisements as well.
