anyone know anything about tablets?

I bought a Tablet at a computer show (Wintime profesional PAL) myurl and I proceeded to put all the cables in the right place and I plugged the tablet into the serial port like it's supposed to be and nothing... there is a little light that should pop on in the upper right hand corner that hasn't turned on and there is no spot on the tablet for an alternate power source... I've installed the drivers and nothing is happeneing, it seems the thing is DOA.... wtf??? help.

If you're not getting power to the pad, you may have a bad pad or a bad power supply. Chances are, you're out of luck with this one...
