Anyone know anything about Stunt Bikes?

Hey all,

Well, I'm having a garage sale, and I want to sell this bike that I have. It's an original GT Mach 1 still in mint condition. It's about 6 years old, and it was selling for around $320 at the time. Could anyone tell me roughly what the value of this bike is today? Thanks alot!

If I remember correctly, the Mach 1 is not so much a stunt bike (eg freestyle) as it is a BMX race bike. For example, I don't believe the Mach 1 was equipped with a headset that would allow you to spin the bars all the way around without hitting the brake cable.

As far as the value, I have no idea how much they depreciate. Given that it was in good shape, I'd wilingly pay $75-100 for one.

On a historic note, I would have killed for that bike when it was new...

Hey Viper GTS,

Thanks for the help, now that you mention it, I did make a mistake in calling it a stunt bike, you're right, it definitely is a racing bike. I was pretty darn happy when my parents let me buy that bike. Hopefully the value hasn't gone too low.

At the time I would have killed for that bike, I was 12 years old &amp; making <$50 a week picking berries. With only a 6 or 8 week season, and other stuff I wanted too, there was no way I was going to be able to afford a GT anything. So, I made do with what I could afford. Some GT parts, some Redline, Pitbull brakes, &amp; gradually pieced together some semblance of a decent bike. Now, of course, I do the same with my computer. A Celeron II @ 952, 256MB RAM, Voodoo² SLI, etc. Next I'm sure it will be a car, 'cause I want a Mustang convertible...

Hey all. i used to be a HARDCORE freestyler. When i lived in Germany I went to International Contest where I got third place in my class, 18 &amp; over expert. I had a Dyno Pro Comp then a Haro Master, Team Edition.

As far as your question goes. Gee I don't know, if you can find a racer or even a 'styler, you might get $200(?) for it?
