I'm looking to try them this year. Wanting to buy a pair since they're so cheap, but I'm not sure which ones I should get. Found a pair of Firefly FunAir on craigslist for $50 canadian, claimed to be used once. Is that a good deal?

Does anyone know any sites that have info on these or snowblades in general? I could not find any on google.

Snowblades are like short skis. Think of them as roller blades on snow, without the wheels. My friend tells me they're really really fun, much more so than skis are.

they're ridiculously fun, but are very tedious on steep slopes or moguls. and they're not good in fresh powder, they'll sink right in. don't bother going down trails that don't see much traffic because you'll be skiing along and suddenly one foot will sink and you'll be on your face.

however, they are super ridiculously fun. at $50 canadian you might as well try em.
